The new Garmin Fenix 5 Plus multisport GPS watch has three versions, all with a number of new features. There’s the new music player with Bluetooth output for headphones that allows storage of up to 500 songs and streaming from iHeartRadio and Spotify. The maps are routable and in full color from multiple satellite networks, including GPS, GLONASS, and the European Galileo system. The navigation sensors include a three-axis compass, gyroscope, and barometric altimeter. Garmin Pay enables contactless payments with the watch through Visa and Mastercard. The sports tracking includes running, swimming, cycling, climbing, cardio workouts, yoga, and more. The number of details monitored is extensive. For example, the golfing feature is preloaded with 41,000 courses worldwide showing yardage to the front, middle, and back of the greens, calculations for exact yardage for shots from anywhere on the course, digital scorecard, green views with pin positions, hazards and course targets, round timer, and odometer.
