Among the all-in-one desktops premiering at this year’s CES expo, the Lenovo Yoga AIO 7 has the world’s first 27" 4K display that easily rotates 90 degrees to let you work with a traditional horizontal screen or a tall page orientation for text or other layouts. The screen can also be tilted up to 20 degrees back to improve the viewing angle. The large screen has room for comfortable split-screen work, or you can use its integrated wireless casting hardware to pair the Yoga AIO 7 with your laptop or phone. The 3,840 × 2,160 display features 99% Adobe RGB color gamut and slim side bezels. There are two 5W JBL stereo speakers, and the camera is a detachable, 5-megapixel IR (infrared) model. Available memory ranges from 16GB to 32GB, and storage is available from 256GB to 1TB SSD. The ports on the side include one USB Type-C, two USB Type-A, and a microphone/earphone combination. On the rear, there are two more USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 Type-A, and another USB 2.0 Type-C is on the top. 2. SAMSUNG GALAXY CHROMEBOOK 2
Samsung’s Galaxy Chromebook 2 was billed at CES as the first QLED Chromebook with a touchscreen that can produce more than a billion colors. Its processor is an Intel Core i3, and the “all-day” battery promises up to 13 hours of use on a full charge. The 13.3" QLED display has a resolution of 1,920 × 1,080 pixels. User memory is either 4GB or 8GB, and storage is 64GB to 128GB. The slim aluminum chassis keeps the notebook weight below three pounds, and the keyboard is backlit. The ports include two USB-C, a headphone jack, and a microSD card slot. Samsung has switched from its S Pen to provide USI (Universal Stylus Initiative) pen support for this model. 3. HP ELITE FOLIO
The new HP Elite Folio has a unique magnesium unibody design that features a vegan leather covering and what HP calls a pull-forward form factor. You can pull the screen forward to rest between the keys at various angles, or it can be set flat on the bottom of the case for use as a tablet. The 13.5" display has an optional HP Sure View Reflect privacy panel and an HD webcam with a shutter for privacy. The pen that’s included is the HP Elite Slim Active Pen that has a cradle for storage and integrated charging. The processor is a Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 5G platform with optional 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, and up to 24 hours of local video playback. Videoconferencing needs have been upgraded with a 76-degree field-of-view webcam, dual microphone array, and high-definition speakers with audio by Bang & Olufsen. www.hp.com
4. HP ELITE DRAGONFLY MAX
HP offered four new work laptops at CES. The new Elite Dragonfly Max features four wide-range microphones and a 5-megapixel webcam with an IR camera to boost the quality of the audio and video on work-from-home conference calls. The lightweight laptop starts at less than 2.5 lbs. with a 13.3" 1,920 × 1,080 display with HP Sure View Reflect and Gorilla Glass 5. The CPU is Intel Core i5/i7 (i3 is available only on the Dragonfly G2), memory is up to 32GB, and onboard storage is up to 2TB. The new Max measures 11.98" × 7.78" × 0.63", and the available ports include one USB 3.1, two USB-C Thunderbolt 3, one HDMI 1.4b, and one Nano SIM slot. www.hp.com
